My name is Sunny Florida Vacation Home
For so many years I was by my own
My owners left me, I was in tears
Just bored all the time and
was full of fears
One day I got lucky, new owners came
Since then I am happy and playing the game
This game is so simple and easy for me
I welcome people — they visit me
I am the Sunny Florida Guest House,
my life is full of joy
Rules of the game are — just stay and enjoy!
And now it’s time to present you my team:
Nathan, the spirit, I am thankful to him!
He writes down my stories, accompanies me,
He is my sole-mate and doc, it could be
There are so many creatures outside and around
The Rabbit, the Owl, the Frog on the ground
The Woodpecker on the tree, the Gator with wife
They make our place and backyard full of life!
Almost forgot, the Turtle in pond
The lady is susceptive but not very old
For me it’s a pleasure to be with my team
Great number of guests we’ve already seen
People from all over the world come for
Manatee swim
Cause Manatee dive is every child’s dream!
Summer is the busiest time of the year
Scallops catching is so popular hear
My location is close to all the activities
I am cozy inside with all the facilities
«Snowbirds» come to catch up with sun
Kick back and relax! Why not have some fun…
Hey guys, just between us and to tell you the truth
Nathan and I witnessed some sort of confuse
There was the time — one family came
The reason for visiting was all the same:
Just lay back and relax, bike, hike, swim and play
Visit some relatives, nothing to say
When finished unpacking it was already dark
Too late for adventure or go to the park
Daddy and kids stayed inside playing cards
Their Mom couldn’t wait to examine my backyard
It wasn’t the luckiest day for the Mother
She slipped, fell in pond, despaired calling for Father
Sinking in pond she stepped on the Turtle
and Gator with wife
All of them screamed, scared for their lives
Immediately Daddy was on his way
Pulled Mommy out of water from danger away…
Another day a family of eight checked in
Two folks and six active and curious teens
They stayed for a few days and visited places
Have eaten all the candies that brought in their suitcases
When parents gone shopping kids got an idea:
To kayak and fish in my pond, catch some tilapia
They threw their bait… Jesus Christ! Oh, my God!
Instead of the fish Gator’s wife what they caught!
Teens start to pull, but she was a big lady
To such an occasion, teens were not ready
They dropped everything and split up away
Happily, Gator was back on his way…
He went out for food for his dearest wife
And when he came back, she was hooked, but alive!
He pulled out the rod and took care of her
By using some herbs cured her very sore jaw
For she can see better he got her swim glasses
To stay out of troubles in case of trespassers
Kids, be attentive and read warning signs
Your careless doings could end up in fines
«No Trespassing!» sign is there not for fun
That family trip could have been over not even begun
Gators and Turtles are friendly, of course
When undisturbed and left live their course!
And not long ago we had one more fisherman
Guest came early morning, started fishing at ten
Getting bored and alone in competitive sport
He decided to do some texting report
Each fish that he caught was pictured that day
No fin and no flipper had a chance to slip away!
While fishing he constantly texted my Owner
Keeping her busy all-day doing honor
They literally were fishing together that day
That’s how she knows about fish, by the way
Well, life goes on and we continue the game
My team is still here, and rules are the same
I am happy with Owners, Nathan and Guests
Thank to them this page of my life is the best!

Vacation house is alive
When people are there by its side
It welcomes guests, they check- in and check- out
Just don’t let it stay your stories without
Boring and lonely its life would have been
Warmth and hospitality it shares within
Keep me your company and I would amuse you
My gators and ghosts will not abuse you
It hopes and prays for more loving friends
To act like a human is one of its trends
This house is no stranger to care and affection
Its owners always do their best for perfection
All that is asks for is love and respect
